Best of 2012

2012 has been a year full of surprises, happiness, awfulness, challenges, and naughtiness. In fashion instinct, 2012 has been also trendy, fashionable, elegant, and terrific with beauty, sparks, and edginess of stylish advices, posts, wishes, tips, coverage, and tutorials. Wishing for the best in 2013 and setting hundreds of resolutions, there is nothing better than recall the awesomeness of a unique year for Fashion Instinct particularly, and in the fashion world generally.

Starting with weddings, 2012 was a joyful “yes, I do” for many celebrities and public figures who gorgeously pronounced their vows in stunning gowns from prestigious designers. And if we need to choose a favorite in Fashion Instinct, we would go for the sparkly Elie Saab dress which was incredibly perfect to Leighton alias Blair Waldrof in Gossip Girl. 


Regarding trends, 2012 is one of the trendiest years in the history of fashion. In fashion instinct, we could not cover all those trends, unfortunately. Yet, we are promising ourselves and you dear fashionistas “females & males” to set high objectives for 2013 and be as awesome as you are. In fashion, Peplum was the biggest trend of 2012. Runways, red carpets, bloggers, and retailers all loved this trend which is incredibly traveled the decades from 1929. Moreover, asymmetric dresses and skirt, lace, leather, a sheer were big crushes of the apocalyptic year especially while mixing and matching them together. The last fashion trend of 2012 was the crop top and it was a hit. Celebrities loved this show of skin style and we believe we will probably see it next spring.
For accessories, bowling bag, collar necklace, cat eye sunglasses, and wedge sneakers were the top trends making rich accessories’ choices to pigment daily outfits.

Concerning beauty, the most attractive hair style of 2012 was the ombre hair. It is revolutionary especially during the summer when socialist, writer, stylist, and designer Lauren Conrad showed off during her “The Fame Game” book tour a hot pinky tie & dye pony tail.

And yes, ombre hair is still a trend during Fall/Winter 2013 according to hair stylists of L’Oreal Paris. Trendy hair style of 2012 was also pixie cuts and short bobs. During the last months of 2012, we were surprised by all the celebrities who cut off their beautiful long hair to have a cute edgy pixie style or a bob like Miley, Rihanna, Anne, Leighton, and Karlie.

About, make-up the ultimate trend of 2012 was vampy look with burgundy lips. It stills the big trend at this moment especially in the holiday parties’ season.
Finally, 2012 was also terrific with last movies from three amazing sagas: Batman, James Bond, and Twilight.
